Plastic Is Part of the Modern World
One of the primary motivating factors behind our business model is the reality that plastic is part of the modern world. Believing we can eliminate it and somehow still maintain current manufacturing standards doesn’t work for us. So instead, our focus is on helping our clients manage plastic waste better. In so doing, we are able to provide recycled industrial plastic to manufacturers more than happy to use it in their processes.
Our Suppliers and Feed Streams
We rely on a steady stream of suppliers to keep us stocked with large volumes of industrial plastics that we can recycle. Over the last 25+ years, we have built strong relationships with a consistent group of suppliers that keep us busy. We are always ready to take on new suppliers as well, but long-term suppliers are our lifeline.
Likewise, we have spent decades developing reliable feed streams. The marketable product we produce, known as regrind, is also known within the industry as feedstock. Without the ability to sell feedstock to manufacturers, there would be no point in recycling. Our loyal customers provide the necessary feed stream to keep recycled materials flowing back into manufacturing.
We Understand Market Influences
Various things influence the market for recycled plastics. We have been in the business long enough to know that markets go up before going down. In fact, markets tend to be cyclical. The cycles are no big deal to us because we have the experience necessary to do well in any kind of market.
More than two decades in the industry has allowed us to tap into a thorough knowledge of market pricing and seasonal volatility. We have seen it all. But whether markets are up or down, our customer service and commitment to doing business the right way never wavers. When markets are down, we know they will eventually rebound. When they are running high, we know it is only a matter of time before the next low. We remain consistent throughout.
We Help Clients Do Better
As an industrial plastic recycler, it is in our best interests to help clients make the most of their scrap plastic. We buy all sorts of industrial plastics ranging from manufacturing cutoffs and purge to used buckets, dunnage trays, and pallets. The more scrap we can obtain, the more material we have to turn into feedstock.
Providing a firm foundation for all of this are consulting services designed to help companies implement and improve in-house recycling. We consult with clients to help them do better with the recycling programs. When they do better, they send less waste to landfills, save valuable warehouse and storage space, and even improve the bottom line.
When they do better, we do better as well. Therefore, it is in the best interests of both Seraphim Plastics and our clients to establish long-term relationships built on trust and mutual benefit.
